Finding each other again.
Pamela and Josh weren’t falling apart—they were falling behind. Two companies, overlapping travel, and the kind of evenings that vanished to hold music, portal logins, and “Did you call the office?” Their time together kept shrinking, and the leftover stress followed them to bed.

Every shared hour felt like a project meeting. Referrals and approvals dragged. Prior auths bounced between inboxes. A refill slipped, labs weren’t in the chart before an appointment, and calendars double-booked. They weren’t always arguing—but when they did, it was about logistics, not love. Both noticed the toll on their mood and energy.

The Journey
The Journey
The Journey
What they needed wasn’t another app; it was a buffer and a plan. We stepped in as their private medical liaison—ECFMG-certified and clinically trained—to coordinate quietly with their physicians, keep the pieces connected, and give them back their evenings.
Starting Point
With their consent, we:
• Set permissions and gathered releases for both of them
• Unified records across offices and built one accurate medication list per person
• Synced preferred pharmacies for on-time refills and delivery
• Scheduled pending labs and imaging before upcoming visits
• Created a shared calendar that respected launches, flights, and focus blocks—plus a protected weekly “no-admin” date slot
• Opened a secure Couple View in their client portal so the whole picture lived in one place (with individual privacy preserved)
Our Approach
Coordination in Motion
We handled outreach to every office, tracked referrals and approvals, monitored prior-authorization status, and ran each visit end to end: pre-briefs before (so teams had the right context) and after-visit reconciliations (records updated, instructions captured, labs/imaging/referrals booked). Quiet hours meant no medical admin after 6 p.m. unless urgent.
Wellness, Without Friction
Instead of a 20-point plan, we kept it doable: protein-forward dinners they could share, a 10-minute walk together after meals, morning sunlight on the balcony when schedules allowed, consistent wind-down, and simple stress-down cues. Evidence-based, tailored to founders’ lives—not theory.
Reporting & Touchpoints
• A 15-minute weekly alignment call (both on, cameras optional)
• A monthly digest in their portal—timelines, next steps, any medication changes, and plain-English highlights from after-visit notes, with simple graphs where it helped
• One message thread for quick questions; no more screenshotting five portals
Progress
By week five, the open loops shrank. Results were in charts before visits. Refills arrived on time. Next steps were already scheduled. Fewer late-night “Did you call?” texts. They used their protected Thursday to try a new restaurant—and kept it.

Final Reflections
Nothing about their work got easier. Their time did. The system didn’t change—but how they moved through it did. They went from roommates managing tasks to partners sharing a life. Energy up, tension down, and room again for the stuff that makes a marriage feel like a marriage.
